Babette Wasserman

Classically trained at Central St. Martin's College of Art in Central London, Babette Wasserman launched her own jewellery label and cufflink collection in early 1997. Widely regarded by the fashion industry as the most progressive designer of stylish, fashionable and innovative jewellery, Babette Wasserman can be found in some of the most exclusive stores around the world. She is renowned for her original and versatile designs which include the popular Saucer (reversible) cufflinks and her 'Reversible' pieces of jewellery. In 2007 Babette Wasserman was rewarded for her commitment to jewellery and design by being awarded the fashion export award, a fitting tribute to the designer whose designs have now earned international acclaim and adorn fashion conscious men and women worldwide. Babette Wasserman jewellery is made using sterling silver, 9ct gold, rhodium and crystal. Many of her sterling silver pieces are rhodium plated to give them a luxurious shine and white gold-like appearance and this luxurious quality is also carried through to her crystal jewellery pieces and cufflinks. A particular design that perfectly demonstrates the wearability of Babette Wasserman jewellery is the Glitter Wheel necklace, a design so multifunctional that it can be worn either as a pendant on a chain or a ring on a finger, and which enables the wearer to display a different coloured crystal dependning on their outfit, mood or preference.
